Some guys are just players. It is an ego thing and a type of contest or "sport" to them. Other guys that may be more "normal" are just trying to find the best type of girl that fits their personality and interests. Much the same way you would choose a freind. Chemistry also factors into a boy-girl relationship. It is the intangible thing that often makes the difference between long and short term relationships. Always start out with the basics. Namely a guy who treats you with dignity and respect. Then go on from their to look for all the particulars you would like in a boyfriend.

the point of dating is to try and find someone special --- trouble is guys generally dont want to wait --- we think the grass is greeener and flit around like butterflies and dont really take the time to get to know you ladies
