i looked forward to the end

not one came before
someone once asked me
if i can write a haiku
afraid not, sorry
thanksgiving dinner
too much food, not enough time
leftovers again
a day off from work
spent sleeping and reading books
perfection exists
my answer's too long
reading it takes too much time
