My son is 3 years old now. Starting when he was about 18 months old, he loved Elmo's World. He actually learns quite a bit from them. He still loves Elmo to this day. They do some counting and stuff, but mostly they pick 3 subjects per DVD and concentrate on those. He never really liked Baby Einstein movies, but I only bought a few of those. Good luck finding a good DVD for your 2 year old!

If you stick with music, you can't go wrong - As an Aussie, I have to recommend The Wiggles and Hi 5! The songs are educational and fun!

Check out some foreign languages as well as regular educational. I know your child is young but the language center in the brain is most active until the age of 7 so if you want to encourage your child to be bilingual, get him/her to start now!

Have you heard of the Baby Einstein series? They are wonderful. My granddaughter loved them, from age 1 to 3.
