1) neuter
2) go back to "housetraining" and treat him as if he's an 8 week old puppy - meaning strict supervision, no free access in the house, confinement while in the house, lots of opportunities for outside potty, etc
3) get a "belly band" goes around their waist and weewee - stops the behavior but doesn't teach the dog that inside is bad and outside is good - it's just a management approach
4) clean urine with Nature's Miracle or similar to get rid of the odors that attract marking in the first place
5) get a blue light so you can see all the areas to be cleaned.
6) get professional assistance

Honey males are just that way, they are marking and remarking their territory.King of the world!!The best thing you can do is purchase a "BELLY BAND"or make one from a sock depending of course on the size of the dog it is just a band that covers that thing up !!!you will have to take it off a intervals and take him out to potty.I put a diaper type pad over his penis when he has the band on and change it frequently ,just like changing a baby so he will not chap.Don't be quick to neuter him because it might not make any difference and some day you might want a pup just like him with his bloodline.Good LUCK Belly Bands can be purchased from Foster and Smith 1-800-826-7206 they should have every size.Good luck!!Happy Holidays!!!!!

Male doggies do no longer initiate lifting their legs to pee until a minimum of 6 months previous, some later, reckoning on how briskly they mature (even interior the beagle breed it may selection). Leg lifting is approximately hormones, & being waiting to reproduce, in that they are making sperm, its "marking." in case you neuter the dogs until now it starts off lifting it is leg - maximum in all probability, it on no account will. at once peeing, to void urine remains completed greater in a squat or soaring sit down. Sexual marking is a separate subject & regularly completed basically by intact dogs, or dogs who found out to "mark" until now they have been neutered.

He is marking his territory. Unneutered males will "mark" with urine to let other males know that is their space. Try getting him neutered that should cut down on it but you are going to have to clean up all the urine spots in the house really well so that he doesn't go back there.

Neuter him. And even then, now he's got the habit, he might not stop it. That's what normal dominant dogs do, pal. If you haven't neutered him, what did you expect?

First i would get him neutered this could be a sign he might have tried mating or already has. Or it could be for territorial reasons.

He should be neutered. If he had been neutered before this started you wouldn't have the problem.
