I was told that i could get VA money for college since my dad was a veteran of vietnam. I was denied.?

They said that he had to die as a direct result of the war, which was never put on hie death cirtificate. i have been told countless times that i could get it, but the "professional" at our community college said I cant. Anyone get VA? What are the terms? Thank you for any help.

GO to your VA administration and talk to them. If his death was a result of war induced injuries ( which the VA will have on file) you will be eligible. Just the fact he was in the war does not make you eligible.
