How long have you been together? Be cautious. Don't go along with it too long. Something should probably "happen" for you two by 1 year of being together. Don't go along with a guy that says something like, "I love you, but I'm not sure of the extent of my feelings," or "I've got a fear of commitment." I made the mistake of being with a guy for 3 years like this when I should have ended it after 1 year. I knew I wanted a future with him at 6 or 9 months myself. There were hints from him of a future together but nothing solid. On the other hand, he's only human. If his parents had a bad relationship, he could be scared of something serious and pushing you off for that reason. Just be careful. Don't let him pull you around by the ear.

well i know it is somewhat hard to say i love u for guys when we first started dating cause we often think it is a girl thing. thats is how i was when i started dating my babii girl. i was soo shy and thought it was not a manly thing so i didnt say i love u to her much. however, over time, the words i love u would just naturally come out of my mouth and i no longer feel shy and i actually feel more like a man after i expressed my love!!

Not a guy, but i think it's all about showing weakness, which ask any man, don't like to do.
You either love someone or you don't.
