Why do you feel compelled to say anything. Is this worth losing a friend over? If you know, others will too fairly soon. I think you pastor needs to look for a new line of work though.

Well the Bible teaches that you go one on one with the specific individual who has sinned and bring up the issue guarding yourself to not be judgemental but forgiving.
Then it says, if they dont listen you take a couple people with you and confront the issue. If they still dont listen the Bible says to consider them unrepentant and to distance yourself from them.
Nowhere does it say to tell a 3rd person about the sin of another individual.

How do you know? REALLY???
And if so, why are you still attending the church?
Don't get involved. Obviously, her mother is a grown woman who raised your best friend. SHE will find out in due time.
What is done in the dark will eventually come to light---WITHOUT YOU bringing a candle to the scene.

Sometimes "what u dont know cant hurt u"..and in ur case, not telling her is the best thing u can do. what will she benefit if she knows, and how disturbed her realtionship wth her mother will be? u have to think of these things b4 acting. when u want to help someone, u tell them sthg only if it's for their best interest to know, not sthg that they have no control over and can only devestate them...

I wouldn't say anything at all. There are some things that go on that are not right, but to say anything about them would just make it worse. Besides how do you know that this is what happen? I don't think that you were invited to be the there, were you?

You don't. Who is it benefitting if you tell her. You could lose a friendship over something you would have to prove and are you prepared to do that. Stay out of it and keep your friends. It really isn't that important if her mom did sleep with her cuz it is really nobodys business. Stay quiet and keep your secret, keep your friend.

How do you know positively that they did "sleep" together? Were you there? I would not discuss it with your friend, it is something that really is none of her business. Also, you may want to change churches.

Now how would you have any knowledge of that? Stop gossiping and spreading hurtful rumors. Mind your own business and learn what it means to be a friend to someone.

Are you positive that is what happened? If you are positive then why do you need to tell her anyway? Is she married or something? This would be a difficult thing to tell someone. Good luck with that one.

Why would you want to? Her business and doings are hers; yours are yours. If she didn't poke you in the nose then her business and yours are not connected; don't be a butinski. Someday you may want to see what something is like?????
