She pays income tax on the profits made by her estate.

She didn't pay any inheritance tax when the Queen Mum died as there's a piece of law that exempts assets remaining within royal family.

She does pay tax but she would probably have an accountant do it for her. I can't imagine her sitting at a table asking Prince Phillip if having eight grandchildren entitles them to some kind of deduction. She never used to pay tax but several years ago Windsor Castle, one of the Queen's residences caught fire and the Tax paying public were demanding to know just who if anyone was going to pay for repairs.

No, they made themselves tax exempt a couple of hundred years ago.
