Hi, there are lots of places you could look. Try contacting your local vet they might know of where there are some kittens needing good homes.

Otherwise, have a walk around local newsagents & pet shops as they may place adverts in the windows. Also check out your local papers.

You could also try some of your local Animal Rescue Centres or Shelters (see yellow pages or search online - can't give you any links as don't know where you are)

Otherwise, try some of these sites:

Kittenlist:

Preloved:

Adtrader:

Good luck

oops this is some hours later - think I've given you all the same details again, sorry ... here's some new info:

If you fancy a Turkish Van (price between £250-£400) then there is a breeder in Greenwich that were born on Halloween that will probably be ready at the end of December. There's more information if you scroll down on the CTVCA site:
http://www.vantasia.org/kittens.html

This page has a link to an advert placed by a Shelter in East Greenwich plus an ad from the Potter League for Animals looking for homes for 40 cats & kittens ... maybe they would let you book one to collect after Christmas?
http://www.neindependent.com/classifieds/?loc=detail&main=Misc.%20for%20Sale#Pets_&_Supplies

Webpage for Greenwich Cats Protection:
http://www.catsgn.org.uk/adopt.html
There are some lovely looking cats & sweet kittens on their webpage.

But I'd also suggest searching again a bit nearer the time that you want the kitten ... good luck

Nothing Wrong with wanting a Kitten! Its a great xmas Present For Yourself,Not a Great gift to give to others. Honestly your Cheapest Route would be your local Animal Shelter or ASPCA,You will pay a fee BUT, The Kitten Will be Vetted , Checked out, Dewormed, Have Shots , Ect..Your Adoption Fee will be less that your First Vet Visit would Cost and spay/neuter is included..plus you are saving a Life.
Merry Xmas

Erica--"fenlandfowl" always isn't very diplomatic with her answers if you look at any of them. Anyhow, some people you just have to ignore such as her and look for the the best answers people give. I noticed "Solow" gave you some good suggestions in your original questions since you are in the UK. I hope you find your Xmas dream kitty soon!

you have tried all the valid procedures, so all i'm able to propose is which you preserve checking the newspapers and ringing the RSPCA. the only different element i'm able to think of of regardless of the undeniable fact that's in keeping with possibility attempting different rescue centres or noticeably ones that cater for cats in specific. there is likewise breeders to boot, yet different than papers or in keeping with possibility specific web pages on the internet i'm undecided the place you will discover those. basically be careful whilst procuring pets - are not getting any animals from farms the place they basically breed and breed the comparable cat (or dogs) and take a investigate and use basically respected breeders and centres. maximum suitable of superb fortune!

If you live in the UK, apart from Blue Cross, RSPCA and Cats Protection it might be a good idea to visit your local vets they often have hoards of kittens & cats on their notice boards that need rehoming.

you have shown yourself to be irresponsible by asking for a kitten even though it isn't kitten season and asking on a place like this instead of making the effort to find one locally to you, in rescue centres etc. If you ask a stupid question, don't be surprised if people get annoyed with you.

Try the Cats protections League or the RSPCA or your local newspaper.
The benefits of the RSPCA or Cats Protection is that they will come fully tested or cat leukaemia and cat aids.
