How long does it usually take to be able to eat after oral surgery?

I had my bottom jaw moved forward and I had two spaes closed on the top of my mouth. Its been a week and three days, I can eat yogurt, mashed potatoes, grilled cheese sandwiches, pudding, pancakes, and pizza cheese. I want to be able to eat solid food with a week or two...any tips or hint?

at least 30-60 days all depends on how tender your mouth is really!

This is a question for your oral surgeon because they know the extent of the surgery. They know the pecularities that the surgery involved. I would stick to soft diet until your post op check when you can then inquire.
