It depends on how tall she is. If she is still short for her age, then she might be like 4 or 5 pounds overweight, nothing to worry about though. If she's only 12, she doesn't need to worry about her weight. She still has to grow up before she starts worrying about her weight. Like when she's 16 or 17. Although it is good to watch your weight early on, so that you don;t become obese. So, if she is the same height or taller than average, then there is nothing to worry about it.

She's not fat or over weight by any means. And I mean she's still growing so she might grow taller and then look slimmer.
Just keep on telling her that she isn't over weight nor fat.
It should help eventually. Also ask her if anyone calls her fat. Some times ppl call other ppl fat and it gets into their heads and they actually believe it.....like me for on. I'm not really fat, but I think I am, just because some people can't keep their trap shut.

So just keep talking to her. It sounds like you two are close, that's good ^_^ She can trust what you say then.

It seems to me that your younger sister doesn't feel good about herself. Talk to your sister and ask her why does she think she's fat and maybe you should encourage her to seek some counseling or therapy-also, go with her as well! Your younger sister needs to love and accept herself and build that self confidence within her. Tell her how beautiful she is from the inside out, and tell her how much she means to you! Good luck to you and God bless!

If she really isn't (even if she is a little) tell her she looks great but if it will make her feel better you'll____ with her. (go running, biking, hiking, go to the gym, take kickboxing,...something) then reinforce that she looks really good. If there is something small she can do tell her, you look great but why not do a few crunches to make yourself feel better?

She is not at all fat. That is skinny. Keep telling her how beautiful she is and do not complain about your weight in front of her.

i think u should send her to a counseller, go with her, show her pictures of wot people look when they dont eat. tell her bad things like she could die in years to come, that her body will give up, that her insides can come outside.

How tall is she? I would guess she is underweight. Check out a BMI calculator.
