You win the lottery 5 million how much do you give away?Do you give to family you hardly see?Do you give any to charity if so how much? and which charity? .Would you spend it like money going out of fashion ?or would you not tell people and give nothing away at all? A family member of mine won (no where near 5 million) and i got a surprising amount considering i see them 2 or 3 times a year just curious what other people would do.

I would give at least 1 million to foster care homes and orphans.

First I would settle any debts that I had incurred. Any family that comes around saying that they need money or deserve your money are greedy. YOU won the money, it's YOUR money to do what you wish with. If they want to give it to family, then great. If not, then great too.

I would also save enough for me to live off of for the rest of my life. Not to live like a king, but just modestly. I'd give some to a charity that I felt was deserving. I wouldn't tell anyone at first, because I'd know that people would be begging me for it thinking that they had a right to it. I'd go do some volunteer work with several charities (seeing as I wouldn't have to work anymore), and whichever I felt was doing the most good I'd give some too. When money comes your way don't complain. They gave you that money because they want you to have it. I'd put it away in a savings account and let it sit, or talk to an accountant, financial expert of some sort and they'd be able to tell you what to do with it in order to make it work for you.

People become surprisingly nasty when another member of their family comes into money. A few years back, someone I know came into some money due to her husband being murdered. The family swarmed round like flies but as soon as the money was gone, she didn't see any of them for dust. For that reason, i wouldn't even want the money. I don't play the lotto as a general rule because I've seen what greed can do.

If I did come into some money, I wouldn't tell anyone and would continue to live my life in exactly the same way. I'd probably pay my mortgage off and donate most of the rest to charity saving just a little to give any kids I had a bit of money for their future. It wouldn't bring happiness as I wuldn't feel as if I'd earnt it.

Well, 5 mill is a lot, that's for sure! I would be sure and give 10 percent to my church, and then pick a relative or two who I know needed some of it (maybe another 10 percent), pay the government off also, and then probably invest a LARGE part of it. Also I would give a good amount to high school sports programs, and charities (soup kitchens) for the homeless! As far as which relative, it wouldn't matter so much about how often I saw them, but how much they were in need of it and would properly use it!

You're very lucky.
My aunt and uncle won a chunk of cash and they kept it secret for a long time. It was only after the expensive items rooled around did we start to expect a lottery winning was involved.
Most people would probably help out family members with a portion of the cash and a little to charity, but it all depends on the person and the situation I guess. Congrats on your good fortune!

That's what, about $10 million? So probably around $5 million after taxes. I'd give a tenth to charity because I don't go to church, so can't tithe, but I'd still like to help other people. As for the rest, I wouldn't give specific amounts to people, I'd do stuff for them--like pay for my siblings' and best friend's college or maybe help one of them to but a house. I'd try to get as much of it as possible into a savings account because the interest on that much money would pay nearly as much as a job.

And no, I wouldn't give any to distant relatives for two reasons. First, I'm not as close to them as to my immediate family, and second, a lot of my distant relatives are already rich and my family isn't.

The Torres and Luis garcia deal are fullyyt separate, so I dont be attentive to what's each and every of the hooha approximately him costing 30.5 million pounds. I do think of that the sixteen million pound deal became into greater or much less worth it for Arsenal. remarkable and skillful as he's (with a large unfastened kick as nicely,) Henry has constantly been a striker who relies upon upon his %. to get previous defenders. Now that Henry is ageing, he probable lost particularly incredibly some his velocity, and except he can play for 3 greater seasons on the comparable point (which I doubt) as he had completed for arsenal, i dont see why the deal is unreasonable. yet Henry might have been bought for greater money tho....... Torres, in assessment, remains youthful, has had some journey in between the main puzzling leagues interior the international, yet i could say the cost tag is basically too lots, even for him.

First step is paying off current bills and creating a "comfortable situation" for the rest of life. I wouldn't just "retire" - that would be terribly boring. But I would either open my own business or maybe open some type of business to assist others. There's a program around here that does physical therapy using horses, and I would definitely be interested in something like that - getting to spend time doing something I enjoy and helping others at the same time. I'd help any family that was in need, but I wouldn't feel obligated to just throw money at anyone.

I would pay off all my debt and go on a holiday around the world and meet lots of people. I would also give to my closest family and relatives whatever so they don't ever have to struggle with money again, as they always bail me and my family out of trouble and I have always supported various charity so a cool million to them.

Can I get my my £5 million now???

I'd buy a house and put about 1 million to the side, then spend it like it was going out of fashiom, give none to charity and only spend it on the family members I see regularly (which is basically my immediate family).

I would clear my debts and those of my family. I am happy where I live so I wouldnt go to town on buying a large mansion. If I didnt own my home I would buy a home (as it is bricks & mortar) have a riding school built. Definantely have a cleaner and a chef - I might lose some wieght if I ate correctly and a personal trainer. Other than that I would invest it so I could like off the interest and help anyone who deserved it.
