I have hair a little below the shoulders, in layers..i think i should get bangs but my mom says that bangs only good on people who have broad/wide foreheads.. but i'm bored with just a middle part ..so what am i supposed to do?

Do you have a picture of yourself on a CD to put into the computer at play with it? Simple and no loss~yet! Some hair technicians have computer generated imaging and you can be sure for a little cost. Call them and set up an appointment.

Bangs are totally in again! A fun little trick is to bobby pin your hair under in the front to give you the illusion of a bang, it'll help you decide if you like the look or not.
Also, you can do the side bangs....or you can just get a little bit of fringe cut in the front...they don't have to be really blunt heavy bangs if you don't want them to be! If you're really apprehensive, you should start with a longer side bang...it'll grow out faster; but if you like them, you can always go shorter!

I would start parting your hair to the side and get a thin swoopy bang. Go to a prof. to see which side lays the best and you get it cut right. Bang are awsome!! The only people who should concider no bang would be someone with a very small fore head. but even at that a small swoopy bang isnt impos. to pull off.

Don't get bangs! I wouldn't, anyway. Maybe if your bored I'd suggest getting short layers, like a little above your chin. That's what I did. It looks really pretty.

side swept bangs with layered hair is VERY sexy !! seriously they are the greatest new style and they look great on just about anyone especially if you have a semi-large forehead :)

if ur not sure, next time u go to the hair stylist ask her her opinion. she might recommend a different style of bangs that would compliment ur face better

do side bangs, i have side bangs that go to almost my ear. & when i wear my hair up they dont go down unless i want them to. & i just adore them.
