Following the Liverpool Walkabout Bar descion to not allow two Royal Marines into the bar following the funeral of their friend killed in Iraq because they were in uniform. Should we boycott the group?

I am not a supporter of the war, but I do support our troops.

I went into a public-'ouse to get a pint o' beer,
The publican 'e up an' sez, "We serve no red-coats here."
The girls be'ind the bar they laughed an' giggled fit to die,
I outs into the street again an' to myself sez I:
O it's Tommy this, an' Tommy that, an' "Tommy, go away";
But it's "Thank you, Mister Atkins", when the band begins to play,
The band begins to play, my boys, the band begins to play,
O it's "Thank you, Mister Atkins", when the band begins to play

...

For it's Tommy this, an' Tommy that, an' "Chuck him out, the brute!"
But it's "Saviour of 'is country" when the guns begin to shoot;
An' it's Tommy this, an' Tommy that, an' anything you please;
An' Tommy ain't a bloomin' fool -- you bet that Tommy sees!

I Would Hope That This Doesn't Happen In All Walkabout Bars But It Is Probably A Misguided Sign Of The Times That The Bar Owner Was Attempting To Be Seen To Be PC Or Some Such. I Know If It Had Been My Bar They Would Be More Than Welcome And They Wouldn't Have Had To Put Their Hands In Their Pockets Once Either. God Bless Them All, Be They British Troops Or Aussies, God Bless Them All.

That's disgusting.
I'd love to see the public reaction if An Aussie Soldier was refused entry to a Rose & Crown Brit Bar in Sydney.

I'm surprised the locals haven't trashed the place in retaliation.

That's the last time I drink in one of them - not that it's a good thing at the best of times, a load of hammered Aussies Kiwis and South Africans spilling beer all over the place and groping the girls while singing Land Down Under for the fiftieth time in one night never makes for a good night out.

You'd end up boycotting a lot of places. Many nightclubs and bars now wont let military personell in (even when they're not in uniform), the timing was awful for the Walkabout though!

I'll absolutely back any organised effort to do so.
Start a petition about it, maybe, to raise awareness?
