The problem is that the laws that exist are not being enforced, and true immigration policy, the policy that is implemented, is unwritten.

Physically and technologically, we have the ability to keep people from coming into the country illegally. Legally, there are laws that say that employers should not hire illegal immigrants except for show.

In reality, however, our government doesn't excercise the abililty to keep people from coming into the coutnry, and it does not prosecute or penalize employers that hire illegal immigrants.

This is because the illegal immigrant workforce forms the base of our economy. Cheap labor. It is better than slavery. Slaves had to be fed and clothed and cared for like animals. This way, employers have no responsibility and can give some of the extra money they keep to the politicians that help ensure they can keep doing business as usual.

The United States should limit their total population at the present level. Two children per family until the population begins to decline. Once it reaches 250 million, immigration policy should be keyed to the needs of maintaining this population level. Immigrants from "Breeder" religions should always be discouraged and those living here already should be educated to breed within reason (forced if necessary). Over-population is the greatest threat facing Humanity and the U.S. should be leading the way to solving the problem before we breed ourselves into a hole so deep we will not survive the climb out. If your solution does not address the problem head on, then you are part of the problem.

Yes.

They should just enforce the Federal laws that are already on the books.

Basically the laws says, that no person shall enter the United States illegally and a if they do they will immediately be deported.

If anyone gives jobs to an illegal he shall be punished.

If anyone harbors and illegal he shall be punished.

America has 12 - 30 million "illegal aliens" in the country at present and nothing is being done about them because our government refuses to uphold the laws. Time to get a new government.

American citizens need to write to their politicians and complain and DEMAND for them to uphold the laws. They took an OATH to protect America from foreign invaders and they are not doing that!

We're being invaded on their watch!

In a nutshell, certain there must be a extra stringent immigration coverage. If it truly is an essay for homework or some kind of sophistication, do your individual paintings as a replace of having people on Yahoo solutions to do it for you.

Yes,
Laws should be enforced. It's not just because of the money issue. PEOPLE need to realize there are health issues involved here. To become an immigrate you need to pass health tests. Americans are being put at risk everybody is worried about second-hand smoke what about TB.
