Yes. I know long term survivors. And there is always hope. But, much depends on the health of the individual, location of tumors, resection of tumor(s), response to treatment, and . . probably luck.

My son had advanced stage IV abdominal sarcoma (primary tumor was 19cm). After 20 months he has a few nodules (1 cm) left between the dome of the liver and diaphragm. And, he is doing well.

Anything is possible.

I don't want to sound pessimistic, but I don't think so. I guess it depends on if it has spread to other organs. I lost my best friend from that last February.
