My religion is about serving the Lord according to His word. I am nondenominational and my church doesn't have choir we have a praise team, we are taught directly from the Bible, according to the Bible, my lifestyle is living serving the Lord at all times, whenever He calls I answer, steadfastly ready do do works to edify Him. I wear what I want to wear, which are clothes that are pleasing in His sight. I wear makeup, I carry myself as a christian, I depend on God for everything aspect of my life. I still watch movies, but I do find if there is a lot of swearing in them, I am immediately turned off by it, thanks to the Holy Spirit, I am able to determine what is tasteful and what is not. I don't drink, but wine w/ my dinner is fine as long as I don't overindulge in it to where my mind is altered to get off the things of God so that I am still able to hear the Holy Spirit. I still live my life but now it's just according to how God says the righteous should live.

I am an apostolic pentacostal...which means I am a Christian who follows the teachings of the apostals. We belive in Repentance, water baptism in Jesus' name and being filled with the Holy Ghost evidenced in speaking in another language. (Acts 2 specifically Act 2:38). We belive that Jesus is God. We believe in Holy communiion and Foot washing along with Baptism and Marriage as the 3 ordinances set forth by God. We believe that Jesus will call of the saints (those water baptised and holy ghost filled) into their chambers while the tribulation sets forth for 7 years. We believe in the Millennial kingdom as well as teh White Throne Judgement.

We also believe in living a life of holiness...we must be led by the spirit and do as what we believe Jesus would have done.

My church forbides attending the movie theatre, bowling. We do not smoke, drink, have sex outside of marriage.

Women do not wear pants (only skirts) jewelry (only wedding band, engagement rings and watches)

We believe in heaven and in hell

I am one of Jehovah's Witnesses. We have congregations in over 235 lands. We follow Jesus' command to preach to the entire inhabited earth, about God's Kingdom (government) and the blessings it will bring to the earth and all meek ones who inherit it. We believe---
That the name of the one true God is Jehovah: Psalm 83:18--"That they may know that thou alone, whose name is Jehovah, Art the Most High over all the earth."
We go door to door to witness to others about God's Kingdom, thereby fulfilling the prophecy found at Matthew 24:14--"And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in the whole world for a testimony unto all the nations; and then shall the end come."
We believe that the entire Bible is the inspired word of God. We hold to the Bible as a standard for all our beliefs.
We believe that Jesus Christ is the son of God, the first of all God's creations, that he sacrificed his life for imperfect humans so that we have the chance to receive everlasting life, something that our first parents Adam & Eve lost.
We believe that God's Kingdom is the only hope for mankind; that it is a real government; that it will soon put an end to all wickedness, including false religion and all human governments, and that it will produce a new government in which righteousness will prevail.
We believe that God's original purpose for the earth will be fulfilled; that the earth will be completely populated by worshipers of the true God and that these will be able to enjoy eternal life in human perfection; that even the dead will be brought back to life with an opportunity to also share in those blessings.
We believe that the dead are conscious of absolutely nothing; that they are experiencing neither pain nor pleasure, that they exist in God's memory, so hope for their future lies in a resurrection from the dead.
We believe that we are now living in the last days, that some living today will also see the destruction of the wicked; that lovers of righteousness will survive into a paradise earth.
We remain separate from the world just as Jesus commanded us to do.We remain neutral when it comes to politics or warfare against our fellowman.
We believe that blood is sacred and that life is in the blood and that our lives rightly belong to God. (See Gen.9:4, Leviticus 7:27, Acts 15:20, Acts 15:29. )
We strive to apply Bible counsel in every aspect of life.

Not a religion...I'm Atheist. And I have a plain old lifestyle, family, and culture.

Nothing exciting here.

You probably will still get busted for personal communications though. Y/A doesn't respond to commentary! :)

i'm finding it hard to know that myself lately. But i believe in the general stuff such as reincarnation, being morally good, i'm a vegatarian, maintaining a healthy body-healthy mind & soul attitude, the goal of life is self-realisation through meditation and that one day when our debt is done, we'll all merge back with god as something we cant even begin to understand now on this level. BUT!!! as to how i deal with life while i'm here? i'm struggling. i used to think i had all the answers but that comes naturally when u're a teenager right :) now my views are changing, i'm not so hard on myself anymore, and is that a good or bad thing? just feel really confused. Like i'm not focusing enough on whats really important, you know priorities and stuff...its hard i think, to live out what you know in your heart is the right thing to do....what about you?
