Yes.............and don't forget that its all computerised now so a traffic camera can check from your registration number that you have a valid MoT certificate and send you a fine if you haven't!

Yes you can still do this take your old MOT with you and you will get a new one which runs for 13 months.

you can take it whenever you like i think. It's just to check the car's OK, so the aim is to ensure all cars on the road are checked 'at least' once a year.
