does love at first sight really exist?
it happened with me and it was a scene out of a movie....
i was minding my business and suddenly saw him walk by... he was average looking not wearing anything that would make him stand out but for that moment i saw only him...
our eyes met and then i walked on feeling whoa wat just happened????
and then i turned back just to see him turning back to see me...
it was something right out of a movie...
i got his phone number from the place where he had come out from, we re meeting for coffee...
is this dumb?

I'd have to say it isn't dumb at all. This is similar to how I met my husband. He was building something in someone's yard and I was walking by. He looked up, I looked at him and at that exact second for some odd reason I knew he was the person I was going to marry. Up until that moment I was the type of person who "was never going to marry and never have kids!"

A few years later we met for the first time at a New Years Eve party...We began our New Years Eve kiss at about 11 pm and exactly what went on around us at Midnight we have no clue. A cousin who "reads palms" insisted we were to be married and have 5 children...we'd be very happy together.

Well, we've been married 30 years now, have 5 terrific kids and we are not only marriage partners but business partners as well. And yes, we are very happy together.

So yes, love at first sight, in my books at least, is absolutely possible and is quite able to last.

It sounds wonderful and romantic.

Many great relationships start with a look across a room or a bar. You need to follow it up (as you have done) rather than simply brushing it off though. Best of luck!

I believe in instant attraction (or lust) at first sight. I was instantly attracted to my boyfriend the moment I saw him but love came later on. To me, love isn't a feeling, it's a commitment.

lol it's not love at first sight.... it's LUST at first sight.

My boyfriend claims he loved me since he saw a picture of me. That was 2 years ago. It was lust at first, but it developed into love over time.
