I was so mad. This guy I had a crush on siad that I was pretty but he only likes light-skinned girls. I been getting this alot from men.

Yeah I think its just a preference. I answered this because Im only attracted to guys with darker skin LOL My bf is like a caramel color but every other guy his color or lighter than him is just a turn off for me and Im light myself lol. Just depends on the person's taste, nothings wrong with you, or lighter skinned and/or white guys in my eyes. Its just a matter of preference :) try not to take it to heart, I think dark skinned girls are gorgeous (if they got the right attitude) lol forget him.

Men are idiots. But it comes down to them buying into the european standard of beauty. The closer a woman is tot hat standard the more beautiful she is. Look at our pop stars.
Please don't be hard on the brothers; they've had this crap mindset beat into them for 300 years.

not all guys like light-skinned girls, it's simply a preference that one may have. i knew many guys that liked dark-skinned girls over light-skinned girls, you just have to keep searching.

are you kidding? i'd kill to have dark skin! some people just have preferences eg red hair, blue eyes, big boobs. don't take it to heart, take pride in who you are.
