I'm a little confused. Most dyes that are used to produce blonde hair contain perxodes. The peroxide strips the colour from the hair, so I don't know why it should fade since no colour is being added only toners.
You could try leaving the dye on for a bit longer. This will lead to a brighter look from the onset.

I have recently bought two products from Lush, namely 'Marilyn' and 'The Blonde', and I've used them a few times and they are really doing what it says on the tin! They are both based on chamomile and a few other ingredients. Buying them both will set you back around £9 and they are enough for about 6 applications.
I'm one of the many people whose blonde hair darkened quite a bit with growing up and I wanted it back.
Those products, slowly but surely, do brighten your hair. Don't expect to be stunned on the first application, but if you keep it up you'll see a beautiful difference.

Hi Carmel, You HAVE to buy a product called 'Touch of Silver' which is only £2 a bottle. It is a bright purple colour and old ladies and people with blonde hair use it to lighten and brighten. The shampoo lifts out all nasty 'brassy' (yellow/orangey) tints and leaves your hair a much nicer colour. You will start to notice a difference in about 2-3 washes. I have had lots of compliments and its thanks to the shampoo rather than my colourist! Good luck

There are some shampoos that make your hair brighter. If your going to get some I would go to a salon. Some salons have awesome shampoo. Does your hair get brighter if you get itwashed at a salon? If it does ask the person if they have that kind of shampoo. Best of luck!!!

There are loads of great shampoos for people with blonde hair (pantene, john freida etc) Alternatively, there is a product called "Sun-IN" That you can buy to brighten up your colour. I've found the shampoos work the best though!

I find that shampoo and conditioners that are purple. They stop blonde hair from looking brassy or yellowy. It works because violet is the opposite to yellow so it neutralise's the colour. You can also try a toner, superdrug does there own one for 99p and it lasts for a while. I love it. Wella and most other brands do there own version.

certain color enhancing shampoos, or a color-adding gloss like John Freida's are products you could buy that will help. You could also buy a sun-protectant (sunscreen for your hair) to stop/stall the fading - I know Redken sells one. I have also heard rinsing your hair with chamomile tea will brighten blonde hair.

I would highly suggest the John Frieda Line. I have bright RED hair that loses the color very easly so I wash and condition, then use the GLAZE by John Frieda , work into your hair for 5 mins. then rinse off. (I condition again),(has differnet color glazes, also 3 shades of blonde.) It's wonderful!!! Good Luck.

Aren't there conditioners specifically for coloured hair that makes it brighter?
If not you could always try changing your hair colour, some stay brighter for longer.
If your hair is not coloured, I don't know what you're talking about and I can't help you.
