Most of the time I get a massage and the theripist cant use hard enough pressure to relive tension and sometimes they hurt just to be touched. Also I bruise very easy and I dont even remember what I did to get such a bad bruise. I take vitamins and I eat healthy for the most part. Could I have Fiber Mialgia And what kind of dr. should I see to find out. Also what kind of test is it to find out if it is.

Fibromyalgia is characterized by diffuse joint, muscle and bone pain as well as a lot of other signs and symptoms. It is a diagnosis of exclusion. This means many other things have to be ruled out and when your symptoms cannot be contributed to any other problem it is labeled as fibromyalgia if your symptoms fit the pattern and description of it. No one knows the exact cause for fibromyalgia but it is interesting that it is way more prevalent in females than males (9:1 ratio) and usually affects those in the 20-50 age range.
Fibromyalgia literally means muscle pain. Sometimes it is diagnosed by feeling for trigger points. This can be misleading however since a normally healthy person can be tender in those same areas. In cadaver studies no researcher has ever been able to find a trigger point or a nodule. Why so? This is because a trigger point is a response to a stimulus. This means when you push on an area the muscle responds by contracting. This happens on everyone.
Most often those that have symptoms of fibromyalgia often have an array of other symptoms or diseases - also known as comorbidities.
It is all too often that someone cannot figure out what is going on with an individual so if they fit the signs and patterns of fibromyalgia they diagnose them with it just so they can tell them they have something. People use this diagnosis as an excuse not to do certain things. There are many psychological components to this syndrome.

It would be best to either see your primary care doctor or see a rheumatologist.
