I feel this sensitive issue, says a lot about you in nature. I have heard that the belly button is an area of the body linked to your little finger. Would I be right in saying.. that when u drink a cup of tea - ur pinky goes up in the air? Cos if so.. it is ur belly button connecting to your finger.. saying... mmm yess.. Im going to love this cup of tea. What this tells me about you in nature is that you love to have A HUGE DINNER!!

What an odd question and even odder that I USED to have the same issue. All through my 20's my belly button was very sensitive. I would feel nauseous when I cleaned it and to touch it turned my stomach. Somewhere along the way it stopped being sensitive though and at 39 I do not have any issue at all, I have never even thought of it until today...

My daughter suffers from an overly sensitive belly button and she cant bear to touch it. It is filthy but she claims she cant clean it as it is such a awful feeling. If she is wearing clothes that will rub her navel she pops a little teething gel on! She says it helps!!!!!!

You should really let your doctor know about this. I had and still have a little pain in my belly button and I told the doctor about it and he checked it out and said that it is an umbilical hernia. I am not saying that this is what you have, but you never know so I would not let it go unchecked. Good Luck hon.

You are not alone. I hate having my belly button touched. It makes me so nauseous!
My friend can't stand to have his touched either, only because his parents told him when he was a kid that if he pushed his belly button, his legs would fall off.

My wife's belly-button is also sesitive. I avoid to touch it while foreplay, because touching it makes her angry.
