Traditional dances in China depend on which minority is performing them. Probably the most well known dance is what we call "The Lion Dance." Several men put a long lion body over their heads and on their shoulders and act like a lion. Sometimes their are single performers also dressed as lions that do some acrobatics during the performance. I've also seen fan dances and a dance I was told was called "The Peony Dance." It reminded me a little of ballet.

"Lion Dance" is the most well-known. But there are other minorities in China as well, so I'm guessing there's other traditional dances.
