I've read before that one glass of wine a day is good for you. Is there a certain kind that's healthier for you than others? I'm turning 21 in a few days and I've never been in a liquor store or even drank anything before... so I was just wondering about what kind of wine you should drink. Thanks for the help!

I believe that red wine is what you are looking for. But you shouldn't drink too much. Only about half a glass a day or so.

Great question! There is allot of press these days about wine and health. Simply stated red wine has red pigments from the grape skin. These pigments contain power full antioxidants. This is the core health benefit of wine in the news today. There are other factors but they are very user specific.

Per the article below:
The best wines to drink start with Cabernet Sauvignon followed by Petit Syrah and Pinot Noir. Peruse the attached article, I knew there were health benefits to red wine, just didn't know to what extent.

Have a great birthday!!

It is not proved that wine drinking is healthy for human beings. it is proved on lab mice only. although it is important that your active life and well balanced diet and exercise is better take cares of you. a sound sleep in the night is also much more important for a healthy living.
But ...but a small quantity of red wine may be usefull to body as it contains antioxidents which reduces harmfull oxidents in our body.
If you have not drunk any alcoholic beverage before, it is better to not start now also. one can live healthy by following the steps which i mentioned in first paragraph.

From personal experience, it's recommended that you wear some sort of protection when oil painting. I found out, the hard way, that I was violently allergic to particular kind of oil paint even though I'm not allergic to oil pastels or other oil based products. Also, depending on the type of oil paints used, over a long period of exposure a person can develop an allergy. Most art supplies are nontoxic, so you don't have to worry about wearing gloves.

Nothing by itself is healthy for you without an all encompassing health regimen. Even vitamins need to be taken with food and are not to be substituted for a meal. If you are concerned about health you should become knowledgeable about foods, vitamins, and exercise programs.
