I asked the question about bad reputations that the police get. I chose the policeman who made me get more facts. You were right on some of your points. She only wounded the officers BUT they killed her. Apparently, someone from the house did sell drugs from that house. Now, the reason granny had the gun is because apparently guys were using the ruse of being under cover cops to break into peoples houses and roust them. Her neice had just taken her to purchase the gun not long before this happened. Have you ever heard of a no knock warrent? I heard they had one of these. Isn't that a little over the line? Can you just go in anyone's houset that you or a judge belive is selling? I really do belive in the good work taht the police do. If something were to happen to one of my grand children you are the first people I would want htem to find. It just seems like to many "accidents" are happening with our elderly. Several years ago it happened to an ederly man but not with the same results.

This was probably a no-knock warrant. Remember, the police purchased drugs from the residence earlier that day. If they conducted a knock and enter, this would give the occupants time to destroy evidence. The police did not know who all was in the house. We have to assume it's the same people that sold the drugs earlier. The idea that there were fake cops kicking in doors, well, I'd like to see some articles about that happening in the last few months in her neighborhood. Tragic scenario indeed.

OK so granny got smoked. And your point is ??? Granny was old (Hence she was a granny) and the good Lord called for her. The fact that the good Lord assisted her in coming to him is obvious. The fact that she shot 3 other Officers just straight out sucks. To bad they couldnt have gotten a better sight line on her before then.

I still have no pity for poor sweet granny, And I could care less about 10 points for best answer. Granny hit 3 officers, are you getting this, 3 Swat officers. Do you have any idea how difficult that would be for someone who just purchased a weapon? Give me a break, granny had some practice, and don't tell me she went to shooting range. It takes special circumstances to put a bullet in someone. Granny ain't no saint, keep digging.
