a coffe date sounds great for a first date or meeting. it's public, not intimate and you get better coversation w/o pressure or the stress. you can tell by conversation what the person is like. if all goes well then lunch, then go out to a movie and dinner, or golfing or concert. i find drinking on the first date, when you're trying to get to know someone, hinders perception. not saying you'd get drunk, but you'll want a clear head when you want to make a good impression.

Something causal and in a quiet, but not so quiet enviroment - it's the first date - the best part about a first date is getting to know the person you are with and focus on them
Can't do that at a noisy bar - sporting event - or movie

No movie, or spectator event because you cannot talk .. you need to get to know each other!Lunch is good and or a walk in the park, but talk to each other and find out more about each other!

Go out for drinks then if it's fun you can get something to eat to extend the date. Or go to dinner and if all goes well go out for drinks afterward. Both of these allow you to have a conversation and get to know each other. If you are not enjoying yourself simply don't extend the date.

for a first date, i think casual dinner/drinks would be the best that way, ya'll could talk alot and get to know each other better!! movies and such you have to be quit and it doesnt give the other person a chance to open up!

The bestest thing for a first date would be,plan according to what helikes like candels, his fevourate mucis,gifts,and last but not the least guys loves kisses.

I like mnt biking, it gets away from the grind of society, good execrcise, good way to show off physical prowess.
