It's the 40 year old guy and decided i don't want a relationship. He's moving too fast and I'm just two months seperated from my husband. Do I let him down easy or just hit him hard. What words should i use?

I suggest being direct. He's 40 so he should be mature enough to handle it. Trying to let him down easy will probably just send mixed signals and draw it out. Just be honest and straightforward but not hurtful.

Just say you don't want a relationship. As a man I hated when a woman went into all this explaining and trying to let me down easy. Treat me like a man not a baby. Just say what you wanna say and be done with it already. Explaination is like turning the knife in an already deep wound. So just say what you have to see and do your part by not engaging in things with him that will be contrary to your words.
Hope that helps.

There is no easy or hard games.
Just tell him in simple words your not ready for a relationship at this point of time.
He will get the message.

The point is .. do you like him or not.. you havent answered that question....
It is not how soon you fall in a relationship.. but it is with whom you fall .........
