You shouldn't feel dizzy, because you shouldn't be "dieting". You should be eating sensibly, every 2-4 hours (starting with breakfast), so you get a nice, steady supply of energy throughout the day. Here are some foods to go for:

-Lean, Complete Protein (eat with every meal and snack!):
eggs, low-fat dairy (milk, yogurt, cottage cheese, etc.), whey/casein powder, fish (tuna, salmon, etc.), chicken, turkey, extra-lean beef, amino acids (BCAAs), colostrum, and others like these.

-Green, Leafy Veggies (eat at every possible opportunity, any time of day, even before bed):
spinach, broccoli, cauliflower, carrots, onions, pumpkin, green beans, tomatoes, peppers (all colors), squash, cabbage, kale, collard greens, asparagus, peas, greens supplements, you name it!

-Fruits (eat with any meal):
apples, bananas, peaches, pears, oranges, mango, cantaloupe, watermelon, grapefruit, grapes, pineapple, plums, kiwi, strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, tangerines, raisins, cranberries.....again, have at it!

-Carbs (eat early in the day and post-workout!):
whole oats, whole-grain cereals, wheat or veggie pasta, potatoes and yams, brown or wild rice, whole-wheat bread (read the label!), beans/legumes, maltodextrin (one of my favorites), etc.

-Healthy Fats (all other meals, before bed, during sedate periods):
fish/flax oils (also in fish, spinach and other foods), almonds, walnuts, pecans, extra-virgin olive oil, coconut oil, avocados, to name a few.

-Beverages:
water, water, water, water, and water.

Make sure you are getting a good meal within 2 hours of your workout. A bowl of whole oats is a great idea (1/2 to 2/3 cups in milk), eat it about 1 1/2 to 2 hours prior to your workout (to allow time for digestion). That should solve the energy problem. Also, make sure you eat something AFTER your workout! Otherwise, your hard work is going to waste! You have to replenish your glycogen supplies that you exhausted during your workout (via 30-40 grams of good complex carbs) and get a good 20-30 grams of lean protein (whey is excellent).

Take a good multi-vitamin with iron and plenty of B complex to feel as healthy as possible while dieting and exercising.

Adkins or a high protein diet is good. Plenty of green and colorful veggies and meat, hard cheese and eggs. These will keep your energy levels up as will the B complex. No breads or white foods such as rice, potatoes, pasta, starches and sweets are a no no on a high protein diet.

Drink cranberry concentrate 6 times a day. It flushes excess water and bad stuff out of your system.

Get a pint of Cranberry Concentrate (unsweetened) it will make two gallons of drink when mixed with water.

Drink 6 or 8 ounces twenty minutes before every meal and between meals. I always lose fluid in my breasts, arms, thighs and feet. The fluid will help you shrink.

The protein diet will keep your energy up. I would think if you do the cranberry drink every day for two weeks and the protein diet you should drop 10 lbs for sure. Remember no junk food and lots of water and No SODAS OF ANY SORT.

Raw foods, raw vegetables, lot of water, milk will help you give energy without empty calories. If you are exercising also, energy drinks like Gatorade will help.
Please remember that do not plan diet without consulting a nutrition expert. As a thumbrule, you should not have a goal to lose weight more than 2 pounds per month. Also note than any diet plan is successful only when accompanied by proper exercise. Only starving yourself will not help.
All the best.

If you are feeling weak and dizzy while dieting you may very well not be eating enough. It is very important to maintain a minimum of 1200 calories daily to avoid losing weight too quickly and slowing down your metabolism. When you eat too little your body goes into starvation mode, your metabolism slows down and when you do lose weight it's muscle along with fat. On top of that you'll have little or no energy.

Choose a great variety of low-fat proteins, vegetables and fruits and drink plenty of water (6-8 glasses per day). Eat protein at every meal along with vegetables and fruits. You should eat 2-3 cups of vegetables a day. Just avoid excess fat, junk foods with empty calories, fast food, sugary soft drinks/treats and processed foods.

Again.. my guess is that you are starving yourself.

if you are 18 or older.......3 fruits (apples and oranges should be able to fit in palm of hand) per day. 3 servings of starch, 3-4 veggies(1/2 cup cooked = serving) and 2 servings of protein.
are you eating any salt? drinking enough water? these things can make you dizzy if not having proper sugar and salt in the body ex specially with working out...
