You won't see any changes until the second or third week of your session. Two things you have to keep in mind though. One, you only need to excerise at least 30 minutes a day. Two, your muscles actually grow when they are resting. (Strange isn't?)
And just to add on, try to work another part of the body after one exericse. Since the abs are the hardest part to work on. Work on them the most!

Javon56 has the right idea. I recommend that you start with weights that are a little lighter than you might otherwise use. The trick is to do the reps slowly and focus on doing them perfectly. For instance, I do a bicep curl with a 15 pound dumbbell. My limit is probably 25 pounds, but then I would cheat on form. By going slowly, I mean the whole movement, not just the upstroke. It will burn your muscles faster than you might think.

You will feel results faster than you see them, so keep hydrated and take your rest days. Don't cheat and work the same muscle groups on consecutive days.
