If what you're trying to say is "If my mother was a spiritualist, and my father was a methodist, does that make me a methodispiritualist" (or whatever the word is), then no. You are whatever you want to be. Think for yourself, explore different religions and pick carefully. Don't just go with what your parents think - you are your own person, not a bit of them. Of course, it does mean you have two different backgrounds to start you off...

If you meant the question the way you've spelt it, then
a) my parents have no effect on you - you've never met them
b) lol, methylated spirits - not purple squash... don't go near a match...

I kinda think it means that you have the right, as a special person, to have all the spirits you desire, in the ( non- spirited, as in non- drinking) Methodist church!

do you know what metholated means? you do have metholated substances in you right now,.... genticially, your parents could affect how methylated you are.
