I guess I'd have to say theres good and bad things about them. I myself met my fiance online. We were friends first for a few years, now we're getting married soon. Its not all good though meeting someone online. A lot of people are not their true self, so ya have to watch out for those types of people and the sickos. Online dating is the new thing these days. Gives people the chance to talk to someone, without actually having to talk to them in person. Its great for people who are shy. I guess people will give you the good and the bad about it, but just follow your heart.

I dont know. I think there's good and bad. You really have to be careful who you're talking to. My co-worker and her hubby met online and have been married for about 4 years. But then again you always hear horror stories. I'd rather meet someone in person anyway. There's nothing wrong with making friends over the internet tho! : )

online relationships seem to be a thing for people who are too scared to actually talk to or meet a real person. also people who have too many online relationships tend to end up with sticky keyboards - which can be hard to explain when someone else comes to use the computer

Personally, its a bad thing to me. If you know the guy and just dont get to see him as much as possible.... then yes, its ok. but if you met him online, then its not okay

online relationships are ok as long as it is a serious one
i had one before but didn't go well because it was my first
the disadvantages are:
-you can't see what the guy/girl really is
-you won't know if he/she is cheating on you
-you won/t be able to see each other personally

I think its great. You can screen them and weed out the ones who don't match up to your standards. I went through a lot of losers and learned a lot about what I really wanted in a guy, but I finally met the one for me on plentyoffish.com. we're getting married in May 2007! My cousin met her fiance on eharmony.com and they are getting married in February 2007.
