Yeah I think you hit the nail on the head.
I often get the feeling non-religous believers "think"
they got the right answer and they just wanna be nasty to those
who "DO" believe. They're just a bunch of kids.
Yeah we all know how they feel about those who believe in god or any other religion.
It's so obvious what they think, and they never give you any new good arguments anyway.
So why dont they just stay the hell away?

I am a non-believer also. But I don't go around bashing others
for their believes.
I feel theres is no need to. Others who do like bashing people for it are just childish in my opinion.
Adolescent and not fully mature. They never realize, they are the ones who dont have an open mind.
And that their way of thinking could be considered a believe as well.

Although I do not believe. I DO believe people, religous/non-religous all the same, theres more to believe for mankind at first sight.
And that everyone needs some form of believe in their lives
to take alot of questions away,
so they may feel comfort.
Instead of having to ponder about things they cannot grasp.
Science (because of its nature) will never be able to proove that
believe is something powerfull we all cannot miss like water and food and shelter. So they will never admitt it.
But I believe we all need some sort of believe.
As if it were a support for our own mental health.
Thats the way I see it.

Just as christians find comfort in the path and ways of jezus christ and God.
The believe-bashers find comfort in that there is no destiny and no-one
will punish them for their good or bad deeds afterwards.
Who's more scared?

You don't have to belive in God to have a point of view, as long as people are respectful of others religion and views. Shouldn't we all be able to voice them no matter what we believe?

I'm glad you know people have there own views, but also people have there own way of expressing themselves and sometime we may find that nasty as you put it. But we are all different and that is good, it would be so boring if we all where nice got on and agreed with each other. Peaceful maybe but dull. And surly if you do believe in god you must think that this is what he wants ..... Diversity

To find out where you live, where you sleep, when you let your guard down so know when best to steal your soul and eat it.
Why oh why don't you think for yourself instead of trusting a guy that's been dead for 2000 years on the evidence of a poorly translated book that was written 200 years after he died with enormous political censorship. Why oh why don't you think that maybe calling anyone who isn't Christian the anti-christ isn't the best way to get people to listen to your views? Why oh why are all the Christians on here so evangelical? You're on a sinking ship don't take us down with you.

You seem to miss the point. Those of us who have not been suckered into your belief system find your behaviour, preaching and brainwashing HIGHLY offensive. There is no ANTI-CHRIST because there is no christ - there may have been a man who once walked the face of the earth upon whom your legends and fairy-tales are based, but he sure as sh1t ain't sitting on a cloud somewhere waiting to judge any of us.
This sentiment applies to ALL religions - it's an excuse to stop thinking for yourself and abdicate responsibility.

Why should people preach on the internet whether its pro or con religion? More people are becomming disillusioned by religion in its many forms and need to do what they can to convert the believers!

This is an open religion & spirituality room, NOT a lets all be happy christian room. Also, how did you do in your English class? Your grammar and sentence structure is horrid. It was very hard just reading your question and trying to understand what you were trying to get at.

we who are tolerant must be tolerant of those who are not. everyone has free will to follow their own path as long as they do not infringe upon the rights of others or break the laws rules and mores of the Country in which they reside.

Probably because so many of them are aimed at us. Besides, this isn't a christian only section. And you should be happy to have divergent viewpoints.
