I'm a 36 year old male. Been married since I was 20 to the same lady. She is a great wife, with the exception of one area. Yep you guessed it, sex. I'm a very sexual person, sensual, passionate and love to make love. There is nothing wrong with me physically or mentally. I've been very good to my wife, we have a very nice comfortable life. I treat her very special. I'm a very good looking guy and I like to think I'm good at sex. I've had lots of offers from the ladies over the years and always turned away from it. During our 16 years of marriage, we have simple missionary sex about 2 times per month, nothing else. No foreplay, nothing, she doesn't like it. I want it daily and I want some foreplay and lots of it. She's not into it, even though she always climaxes during sex. I'm sick of it and have been thinking of taking my sex life elsewhere. I think it's not about how many times but how happy or unhappy each partner is. I think that however dissatisfied someone may be in their marriage comes out through sex, or the lack of it. I don't think sex alone is grounds enough for a divorce though, other help should be sought before giving up. Even if it means counseling or therapy to get at the root of the issue, both partners need to be satisfied. There will always be compromise though, to some extent. In my opinion, I think 3 times a week would be a good amount on average (if they have children).
