I am a vertically challenged and was always told
"the bigger they are the harder they fall"
Also
"know your victim, as they may run faster than you"
I have proven this to be very true, and have decked a few people, who thought they were bigger and better than me, and guess what they do fall heavier too. I guess they did not know I was a runner, and a ruby player hehehe.
Another is "if you can't beat them, join them"

"that is something Einstein wouldn't have done..."
Let sleeping dogs lie.
You could mention the parable about the mice loving the idea of putting a bell around the cats neck but then none of them having the courage, the wherewithal or the plan to actually accomplish this.
Look before you leap.

I've heard the phrase "Pick on someone your own size" I always assumed it meant not to pick on people smaller than you but I guess the other way applies, and is quite sensible.

If you can't run with the big dogs, stay on the porch!
don't let your alligator mouth , overload your tadpole butt !!
If you find that you are in over your head, keep your mouth shut!
If you are drowning, and go to grab for stick, make sure is not snake!

"Pick on someone your own size!" It means don't pick on the little guy if you are huge because it's unfair fighting.
