mary is my little princess, i dress her in doggy clothes and put boots on her little feet, i take her in my special "Doggy Handbag" with 'Mary' engraved in fake diamonds on it.
she is so special to me and i love her just like a child, i really dont know wat 2 do if i dont tak her to the vet
if i took her, she would hav 2 wait for a week or 2 until i get some credit back on my credit card!!! and until i get paid next week!!!!

Personally, I'd take the gift back and get her a toaster, and see if you can find a less expensive imitation of the dress! Your pup's life is more important than a necklace or a dress!! VET!
SHE CAN NOT WAIT! Forget the bloody dress if you truly love your dog!

Well first of all I would think that if you loved her that much then all of the other things you are buying to max out your credit card could wait. The fact that she has blood in her urine and stool and she isn't eating and she is lethargic are all very bad signs. To give you a rough estimate of a vet visit the office visit alone will cost you areound $40-$50 dollars then there are tests which could run anywhere from $50 and up. She will need fluids run and lab work so you are looking at about $400-$500 dollars ballpark. If I were you my sisters present could wait and I would get my baby fixed. Animals are like children and you wouldn't put your sister's wedding gift ahead of your child's health would you?

You HAVE to take her to a vet. If you haven't any money, if you are in the UK, then google PDSA - they are a charity who will treat your pet for free. Google pet charities or the local animal rescue centre for advice on something similar if you are in the US or elsewhere. If that doesn't turn up anything, you'll just have to borrow money .
Oh, and why are you worrying about a dress and necklace when your dog is dying? if your sister is a decent human being she will understand that you can't buy her a present just yet.
Oh, and get your priorities right next time, please. Forget the diamante collar and stupid dog handbag, and take out decent pet health insurance.
Edited to add: deal with it today. You say Mary is a patient dog - if you leave it another day she may well be a dead dog. Why would you want to let her suffer so you could go and have a stupid dress fitted? You are being cruel and shallow - get a stuffed toy next time, not a live animal.

Screw those people that give you heat about your dog. Screw them up the wall.
BUT, talk to the vet over the phone first, let them know of your situation, maybe she could spare you the big vet bill. I did that, it helped a lot. She not only fixed my dog..but she gained a new customer...me. Get an inquiry on how much all that will cost. Let them know you have a financial problem, and they will give you what's in your budget. It wont cost a lot, if you let them know you cant spend a lot. But your only answer is the vet really. Bleeding is a sign of internal bleeding. n when that happens..its not good. Maybe she ate something and it's in her stomach causing her pain..such as a bone..or she found something n ate it..maybe like a screw or something.
I wish you the best.

Get ahold of a vet immediately. They will work out a payment plan for your. I don't have any prices as I do not know where you are located. It's going to be at least a set fee to check her out and board while she is in their care is usually around here in pa 8 - 10 dollars a day if she is in that bad of shape that they have to keep her. Sounds as if she got ahold of chicken bones or something. Chicken bones will cut their throats and stomach up. Or someone has as cruel as this will sound poisoned her. Does she get foamy around the mouth, if she does she probably got ahold of some Rat or Mouse poison and she needs to be taken to a vet right away.

If you don't get this dog to a vet NOW you in all likelyhood will lose her. It may even be too late even if you do get her to a vet. I'm sorry if that sounds harsh but it is reality.
This dog should have been taken to a vet immediately when the syptoms first started.
Every day I see pets die needlessly because their owners wait too long before seeking medical help..I hope your baby isn't one of them.
Be a responsible owner and get this dog to a vet NOW!!! Stop making excuses...this dog can be in serious danger of dying. there is NOTHING you can give or should give her of your own medications...definately not without knowing what is wrong with her.
People who don't seek proper medical care for their pets when needed can be summonsed for animal abuse and fined or jailed or both.
It is very irresponsible of an owner not to seek vet care for a sick pet.

VET IMMEDIATELY!!! Why did you wait 2 days if she is that sick. Sounds like your dress and present are more important to you than your dogs health. If they are you have no business having dog. There are 24 hour emergency vets. Many vets will take the dog in. She would probably be better off in a shelter, than with you. Get your priorities straight. Dress, Present vs. your dogs life! Cost vs. life.

Are you serious??? Who cares of the vet cost. Most places will allow some sort of payment plan. You must not care that much about your sweet pet. Put yourself in her shoes, your in a huge amount of pain, your sick, probably scared and the one person that you look to for everything is not making it better. I want to pull my hair out right now. So you're going to your sisters wedding without this being resolved first!!! Just go to the vet and when they diagnose her that is when you will get your price. Just like drs. that can't really give a diagnosis over the phone without seeing the animal. Please keep posted on how your poor pet is doing.

You need to take your dog to the vet. There are some very serious dog diseases out there and maybe she has one. My dog got parvo and was able to be cured but was never the same after. You need to go now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Do not wait and forget about the money as the vet has a DUTY OF CARE and will see your dog and should worry about the payment later. Good luck

Yeah, take her to a vet!
Many vet hospitals have a veterinarian specific credit card called "Care Credit". Apply for one online. Call around. Find a hospital that takes it to get her paid for. It's just like a regular credit card but can only be used with the vet. www.carecredit.com
