I am a Vietnam War veteran. Before going into the army, I was a weak person. However, after serving in the war as a LRRP, I am now extremely aggressive. I never back down from any fight and I despise the non-army men who got to stay out of the military because of political connections or parents with money. I really enjoyed the fierce action and was delighted to see our air might in action. God saves souls; but the US Army creates a fighter that will never surrender his beliefs. Thank God for the United States Army.

These days I am still a vicious fighter. Once a person decides to take me on, he is not getting out of this thing without a fight. I will actually keep the battle going until the other person either gives up, or he decides to cease all actions against me. But, he is the one who must make the first move. In Vietnam, I saw a lot of death of friend and foe; but there is no way to get over the battle cry of “charge forward.”To answer your question with honesty, yes, he retains the charge forward attitude.

I appreciate this question my friend.

For the Most part I would say Yes. It is very easy for me to Identify which folks are prior military. I work for a Sheriffs Department and work in a County Jail.

For Prince Valian: You state : " To what avail? Why should anyone care about what an ex-military says or does?

I for 1 would not, I think they`re all stupid & if anyone of those ex-military tried to"charge anything forward" with me I`d just punch him."

LMAO Son I would welcome you for the chance to punch at me. Please note son that I said for the "chance" to punch at me, for you would wake up in the ER ICU wondering what happened.

Next time you see a Veteran son you should thank them for saving your worthless A $ $ !! IT is ok son if you know that you lack the intestinal fortitude to go forth and close with the enemy and destroy their will to fight.

Most do. Military service stresses responsibility, work ethic, honesty and teamwork. Since most employers reward these charismatics a person will tend to retain them.

Depends on his experiences while in the military. If it was positive, he will probably bring the attitudes along into his post-military life. However, most people I know who have served become fairly quiet, thoughtful types afterwards.

From a business owners prospective, yes I could spot an X military person in a heart beat. They stand different, they walk different, and they talk different. They also are far better employees.

Yeah. My father retired over 30 years ago and he STILL thinks he's a First Sargeant. (Actually, he's just a raging control freak).
