Do you really want advice or someone to pat you on the back and say it's a good thing so that your choice of going on a juice diet can be justified?
Fruit juices are not a good choice and should be avoided. All fiber is gone and all that's left is sugar. Let's look at Orange Juice for example. For all the heavy advertising that OJ is a good source of vitamin C, folic acid, potassium, and other vitanutrients, OJ is also extremely high in sugar--more than the average candy bar. Apple Juice, Grape Juice, pineapple juice, and prune juice have even more.
Among vegetable juices carrot juice is very high in sugar and should be avoided. However, tomato juice is a good choice as it contains enough lycopene to make a difference.
If you lose weight like this is will be only temporary. Not healthy at all either. Also how is eating a balanced diet more boring that drinking sugary juice?

A juice diet for 3 weeks may be safe provided
1) You consume adequate sugar and protein
2) You are not already very underweight
You also have to take care that you do not get dehydrated, which should not be difficult in winter, I am assuming that you live in the Northern hemisphere.
I have tried sugar + tea fasts of 3 weeks and found that I lose between 3 to 5 kg. But then I consume quite a bit of sugar. If you don't do that you might lose quite a bit more. But with the sugar you are more energetic and can continue normal activity

Juice is wonderful, especially if you juice it yourself. I've got an Oscar Vitalmax juicer which is wonderful. Have a look at Jason Vale Juicemaster site. You shouldn't live solely on juice for more than a few days or you could damage your health. There's no magic quick fix and diets don't work. Good luck.

How much weight will I lose on a juice fast?
The main benefit offered by a juice fast, to those who wish to lose weight, is the speed of the weight loss. Initially, weight loss can be as high as three-to-four pounds per day, but as the fast continues, the average loss will be one pound-per-day.
To see a person drop 30-to-40 pounds in a 30-day juice fast is to see a person totally transform his life. Self-esteem is given a boost and for the first time in their life, discipline becomes a lifestyle. The fast becomes a catalyst for a total life overhaul. People start dressing better, showing more confidence, becoming more organized, more dedicated in relationships and more at peace.

You would make yourself ill doing that. An healthy lifestyle i.e. Eating, sleeping and exercise all adds up to this. If you lose weight using just a juice diet surely you will make yourself ill due to not having all the resources your body needs.

The only diets that work are the GI/GL diets (because they just represent a sensible, long-term, non-cranky way of eating that fits with our basic physiology) - don't mess with anything else, they're a scam. And don't forget the exercise. Nothing can ever be achieved with short diets as they don't change the lifestyle issues which normally are the root cause of overweight. And you'll never need detoxing if you just eat fresh, healthy, unprocessed food.

Put a two litre water bottle and a glass on your desk just about every morning. Get through it by simply lunch, and do the same inside afternoon. You’ll exercise better in addition to recover faster if you’re hydrated. I drink some water whenever someone asks me a silly question or sends a stupid email... find something that works in your case!
