One of the Millennium Development Goals has to do with eradicating extreme poverty in the world by the year 2015. A lot of organizations spend their money for overhead -- what is the best organization to bread directly into the hands of starving people?

I think in your own community. Food banks and Christmas toys for the underprivileged kids. Stuff like that!

Yes, you heard me right, you are the biggest organisation; as a matter of fact the donator is the biggest organisation.
I am relating to the popular saying "if you want something done, do it yourself". If you visit an extremely poor community, you would see for yourself in what ways you can help. If they lack basic social amenities, employment, education e.t.c you will know in what ways you can help as well as channel your donations towards helping the community.

The Salvation army are the only ones who help to feed my children, They even gave Christmas gifts to us.they have used clothing store, however when my children had no clothes or shoes, they let me shop there free.
