you probably broke a blood vessel in your sleep i do this alot and im very thick skinned so im always shocked it will cause a bit of a throbbing pain sometimes a sharp pain and when the vessel heals the blood that got out will kind of die off and coagulate and sit right below the skin so it bruises, thats what all bruises are a broken vessel. dont worry about it, it will go away in about three days to a week.
