Haven't u heard about the global warming, imbalance in nature, danger to wild-life,envirommental pollution and degradation, resources coming to end due to man's insatiable selfish demands????

Its high time we realise our mistakes and undo them.
We know what we are doing but are in no intention of stopping it.

Thats why EE is required.
But just learning won't help we must bring that to practical use.

Contrary to other opinions, there is indeed a carbon dioxide problem. Photosynthesis does remove some of it, but becuase we produce the compound in such large amounts, it accumulates in the atomosphere and warms the earth.

But back to your question: it is imperative that students get environmental education. They need to know how their actions affect the world around them. Becuase they were born into this word, they thus have a resposibility for it which means taking the earth's overall health into consideration when getting into an 8 person SUV or Hummer. Future generation need to know what they can do to reduce consumption, conserve resources and live wisely. I have been studying environmental science for years now and I don't think I'd change a thing. Indeed it's sad to see the state of the world now, but I know that I can help others and help myself to reconsile--or at least start to--this problem. Environmental Education is essential.

The problem is the people teaching are not that smart after all. Most things that the environmentalist are propagating is wrong.
CO2 is not a pollutant and it is not increasing by 30% go measure it. There is a process called photosynthesis that removes the CO2 from the air automatically and gives us back oxygen , I think that is great .

Environmental Education is necessary. Too bad it isnt taken more seriously.

I think our great grandchildren would love fresh air and clean water too. Too bad they wont know what it is.
