Not really. Just like humans, dogs are of different characters that make some lovable and some unworthy of being loved. It is true that dogs are ever loyal but dogs have moods too which should prompt anyone to put limits on trusting them. We know what we see from the dogs but there are many things on them beyond our understanding so trusting dog follows the same rule of judgment on trusting man. Your question reminded me of our very loyal and lovable dog who attacked my younger sister all of a sudden. She was wounded and got 6 sutures over her shoulders, its a relief that no rabies infection happened. You see, that is why precautions should always be taken with dogs and total trust should not be given no matter how loyal and trustworthy they are. Men are unpredictable just like the dogs, so both are just the same. But mind you, you will have a better gain if you will love a person and make them to love you.☺

A guy I know had a dog for 8 years (since it was a puppy) and they were best friends. The dog never hurt a fly and was highly trained and so lovable. One day, the dog pulled a piece of meat out of a trash bag on the street and his owner tried to pull the meat from the dogs mouth (he had done it many times before) The dog jumped up and tore the guy's cheek half off his face. No matter how well you think you know your dog you cannot always trust them 100%. It's the same with people.

it depends on how well connected the dog and man is. Yes some dogs
are loveable and some can even kill a human i guess u have heard in news such as "Dog kills child". when its come to trustfulness I still believe a man is above a Dog on that quality. because a human has a good memory and recognition power above all animals/Yes sometimes we do say that a Dog can be trusted than a human. I think its just a saying. Humans are above all animals this is a scientific and even a religious fact, but don't forget there are some humans that act like animals too.

Oh god ya.
Dogs will treat you as you treat them.
They are fiercly protective too.
The other day I was outside my house playing with my dogs.
I have 2, when a group of men in a big old van drove in and started to make their way to the door of the house.
They were obviously going to knock the place off.
One dog sat infront of the door, bristling with rage, flashing his teeth, growling and barking and the other dog backed me against the wall and sat infront of me doing the same thing.
The guys weren't long leaving and the dogs chased the van the whole way down the avenue. Then they came back and followed me around all day.
It was so sweet.

Once lost a girl friend as she said that I thought more of my dog than I did her. Pointed out, that if I called my dog, it always responded. Couldn't say the same about the girlfriend.

Dogs and men have a surprisingly large amount in common!

-we can pee standing up (even though some would rather not)
-we drool at good cooking
-we leave our crap laying about and dont even consider picking it up
-If left alone we sleep most of the day
