1st dates are fun but can also be stressful. I don't know how well you know this person or how old you are but I would suggest that you do something during the day. Plan something that will only be a couple of hours and something that will allow you to talk and get to know one another. Out door activities are always good....apple picking, a counry fair or carnival, a place like an aquarium...out to lunch....you want something that is not too expensive, that is public, stress free and that allows you time to relax and talk....good luck and have fun

I think a first date should be something low key like going for ice cream, coffee, walk in a park,bowling, anything of that nature. The first date should be more about getting to know that person instead of trying to impress them with an expensive dinner, going to a club or seeing a movie -places that don't allow you to talk or talk as much to each other as you need to...

here is my tip especially for this time of the year... go iceskating, make an assof yourself and then joke about it during hot choc.... works every time... your mixing two things women love... your making them laugh and feeding them choc!!!
