Do you mean young people who are Chinese by ethinicity or by nationality? I'm ethnically Chinese but am Singaporean.

I don't think political ideals are to be 'liked' or 'disliked' but to be believed in. In any case, communism does embody many positive ideals and it was this very element that made it so appealing to the poverty-stricken and bullied masses in China during the 20th century.

However, I think most of us can safely say that communism hasn't worked out very well in practice. Countries that adopted it as their system of government faced all sorts of problems, especially when they realised that absolute equality is an unachievable dream. Most of the misery experienced was from the fact that a handful of people held power and were able to use it to oppress people even more.

Hence, I'll quote Homer Simpson and say communism works - in theory (only).

do chinese youth like communism?

I think those living in china may not have the same aversion to it as their westernised counterpart
first the education is the difference

the sheer size of the population may require some sorts of control over the populace
any change if any has to be a gradual process
those countries which called for human rights in china have a reason whether good or bad.
i can imagine the chaos that will ensue if political reforms were implemented in a steadfast manner

if the people want a fragmented china, they can carry on planting the seeds of democracy

but too much of democracy and freedom cant be all that good.
ex: guns, violence
even the US has to curtail some democratic rights with the threats of further terrorist attacks
in the end it is the macro welfare of the country that are taken into account under certain conditions
now dont tell me the FBI and CIA wont knock on the doors of people who bad mouth the govt in a fits of rage and anger

it is natural and a human want to demand something they dont have. But once you have it all, it will be no great deal

I sense chinese youth if they read about democracy will want to know how it feels like but it is the greatest mistake if they began to think why it is not possible in china as they are different places, culture, situations, and national integrity at stake so it is impossible

now it is politically communist
and economically moving towards capitalism

if you like to bad mouth Govt it is not the place for you
and criminals stay away also
for normal people like us it really doesnt feel like communism at all
so people outside of china stop whining, visit it to have a better view of its true nature now

for me china will have its own version of democracy, the one which works in the region
or it will evolve a different setup for its region

properly, it partly relies upon on which "chinese language(sic) teenagers" you're touching on. youthful chinese language human beings in Hong Kong frequently loathe the fact of dwelling in a rustic with a communist government. on the different hand, China isn't in all threat communist. One holiday to Shanghai, Beijing or maybe Cheng Du will tutor you this. there is no interest any further in promoting the "proletariat", as there replaced into in the previous days. China has rediscovered the thrill of having prosperous and there are greater millionaires (measured by making use of their wealth in US money), right this moment in China, ordinarily alongside the jap seaboard, than ever earlier. So i think of a greater appropriate question could be 'Do teenagers in China like the style of government they have?', which i think the respond to be a company NO. solid luck with this situation, we will all be coping with the fact of ways chinese language teenagers experience in the subsequent 10-2 many years.

You know, China government removed the confinement and allowed Chinese citizens to access the Wikipedia , it was just 2 weeks ago.
But now again, people can not access to it.

They should try to do something against communism, like the Soviet, Boris Yeltsin conquered against Gorbachev, or like the coup occurred in the Thailand last month.

Depends on what you mean.... Communism is the status quo in CHina - that means it's kind of like the republican party in the USA - the comunist party is the 4H club, the boy scouts, the elks lodge and the future farmers of america for China. People join the party to get ahead, not necessarily because they are fanatical marxist running dogs. I dated a commie girl once - she was darn cute. do american young people like republicanism ?? go figure.
