What would you like your bedside clocks to be like and have?

i am creating a bedside clock for my product design course, and i need to gather some information on what people want their product to be like - or what it needs to have.

i want it to be safely designed without sharp edges, i also want it to be modern, attractive and stylish. if its stylish and modern then the price suited for it would start from £20, but i won't pay more than £40 for a bedside clock.

I would like mine to be :

-Black or Silver
-Not too big
-To sense when I don't want the alarm to go off
-To have an alarm sound which consists of Harrison Ford or George Clooney saying "good morning Annie" !!

So when will it be on the Irish market ?

I have a projection clock with a thermometer outside telling me the temp. also I never have to change the time because it is a radio controlled one. Why don't you re-invent the teas-maid?

I'd like a clock that I can read in the dark even though I have very bad eyesight - dunno how you could combat that... also, I'd like an alarm with a choice of settings like if I hit the 'lie-in' option before I go to bed it'll go off and my pre-defined choice of 7.20. If I've picked "Normal" it'll go off at 6.45 and on Friday night, it automatically switches to 'Weekend" mode and doesn't go off till midday!

one of those cute old fashioned ones with two bells on top, all metal with a loud ring. and it should be red, because red metal looks good

a projection one that when alarm goes off it projects time onto wall. and says good morning
