Go see a doctor.

allergy, yes
the guy is right about benedryl... an antihistamine would be a good idea i think
make sure you are around someone who can drive or call 911 just in case it gets worse
shellfish allergies can supposedly take up to 6 months to occur
because of the location i feel like it is from inside your body, i.e. food related probably
so if it's not getting worse, i would say take a hot shower and once you are good and warm turn the water to very cold for 60 seconds, then go back and forth. that will stimulate your glands.
then i would say water is good, b-complex or a multivitamin is good
then start considering things in your environment... did you touch a chemical? are you wearing a weird new fabric?

It does sound like an allergic reaction, especially if it was sudden. It may have been a new ingredient in your food, something you touched or inhaled, new clothes detergent, touched someone's pet, just something you came into contact with.
Take an anti-hystamine. Most anti-congestants contain some sort of anti-hystamine, so ask your pharmacist what's appropriate. If Clarinase or Clarityn is available where you are, those are good over-the-counter options.
***BUT if you feel your windpipe tightening or if you're having difficulty breathing, go to the emergency room right away!
