Those guys are scam artists and phonies looking to make a buck. There are a lot of them out there. I give 10 percent of my income to my local church because that is how we pay for our building, electricity, Pastor's meager salary, etc.
I do it because I love Jesus who gave everything for me on the cross so I could be forgiven of my sins.
An ATM in a church is wrong.
Those rich evangelists, so-called healers, and self proclaimed prophets who prey on the ignorant and fearful are wrong, too
That being said, a true Christian is someone that has a relationship, not a religion, and that relationship is with Jesus Christ.
All religions have similar scams, too. You can buy the god's or God's favor, amulets, charms, spells, indulgences, etc.

Yes, i know, I'm from the Philippines. Since 80 percent of the 85 million population here are Christians, we are the favorite victims of religion-related businesses from other countries,.
In a cable TV home shopping program (by a Protestant denomination) a preacher sells a cross with a stone in it that he claims is the birth stone of Christ. He's selling it for 50 dollars, and its selling like hotcakes!

We could discover ways to be sensible as a serpent and gentle as a dove. We could discover ways to tutor ourselves authorized. the substantial 2 issues are this. maximum Christians don't be attentive to their scriptures. Biblical illiteracy is a undesirable, undesirable trend, and the reason the heretical church is growing to be so today. the 2nd reason, and the only of maximum magnitude is that this; we've long previous off track of the only and basically actual gospel as Paul defined in a million Cor 15:a million-4 and warned of its magnitude in Gal a million:a million-6. Repentance in the direction of the daddy, and faith in Christ Jesus. He died for our sins, in accordance to the scriptures. He became into buried. He rose returned on the 0.33 day, in accordance to the scriptures. The gospel. finished and finished. front and middle.

I'm not a Christian, but I don't believe you need to tar everyone with the same brush. There are "Christian" con artists as well as non-Christian ones. Unfortunately, there are more people in religion that believe in miracles than those outside the church. They make excellent "marks" as a result.

atm machinese in churches? where the hell do you get your information from. ive never in my life seen such commercials looking for money. all i see around me are reach outs like Battlecry and Harvest Crusades. Anyone in the industry market is able to come up with commercials that try to convince viewers to buy their product. if they really think they are Christian, they should think again. i do believe though, that people have been healed from miracles that God and Jesus Christ have presented to. i've actually witnissed one from a nephew of mine. packaged water is a bit extreme, and those idiots that came up with the commercial isnt really a beliver in Christianity.

havent you heard ? holy water exists to fight the war against vampires!
i have actually never thought about origins of holy water. but i think moses at one time either sprinkled water on israel or it was blood. So in the absence of blood water can be used?
and if a person really was HEALED! the only thing wrong with tha could be that it was a miracle of Satan, not of God.
I wonder what you do that is so stupid? any confessions :)

We can't stop people from saying or selling whatever they want. That would be like saying all Muslims are responsible for terrorist, all white people are responsible for slavery, and all people of african desent are responsible for the genocide in Danfur. The wackos are making a buck in the name of God and will pay a much heavier price than any man could force them to pay.

Jeremiah 14:14
14 Then the LORD said to me, "The prophets are prophesying lies in my name. I have not sent them or appointed them or spoken to them. They are prophesying to you false visions, divinations, idolatries [a] and the delusions of their own minds.
Jeremiah 23:16
16 This is what the LORD Almighty says:
"Do not listen to what the prophets are prophesying to you;
they fill you with false hopes.
They speak visions from their own minds,
not from the mouth of the LORD.
I could go on for ages, but i think you get the point.

First of all.... what makes you think this type of behavior has anything to do with real christianity? Sounds like the devil is involved there.
Satan wants the world to mock Christianity. So the best way to do it is to use the title "christian" to help his agenda along. And he preys upon the weak of heart and testimony to do his dirty work.
Not all Christian churches do that...or even beleive that. So don't pile us all into one catagory.
Remember, Satan beleives in Jesus too. But that doesn't mean he carries the title of a disciple of Christ.
Many will profess his name in the last days but their hearts will be far from him. This is a perfect example , this that you speak of...

Rem tat every religion has both good and bad sides cos ppl makes up their own rules acc to their convevience in the name of religion. So never generalise that christians are doing this or that. These ppl who are trying to make money in the name of religion does it for their own greed and it shows that they are not true christians cos God never told us to be greedy.
One advice....try to look at the person's heart and not his religion.
