I was wanting to breed her. If I do will the puppys get it, and if so will it be more serious for them?Do you think the breeder should have told us about this?Do you think I should get in contact with them to tell them this ?

An undershot mouth would make her a poor breeding prospect & you should tell the breeder so the breeder is aware what her stock is producing.
How old is the puppy? Undershot isn't a common problem in labs but it does persist in lines. Puppies from an undershot animal are highly likely to be undershot too.

What is her breeding? Show or field? A show breeder should certainly have checked her jaw, although jaws can change it is not usually for the better and she may have been ok at eight weeks.
Does she have her permanent teeth yet?
Does she like playing tug?

I am sure you didn't get this dog from a show/good breeder. There would be NO way they would have sold a show/breeding puppy with that fault. You can contact them, but chances are you are SOL. Did you get a contract that said the dog was purchased for breeding?? Did it say you could return the dog if it was not of breeding quality?????
I doubt you have that kind of thing in writing.
It is a SERIOUS fault in Labs andd this dog should be SPAYED ASAP!!! This is not something that needs to be passed on at all!! If anything, it is going to get worse.

Next time, buy from a show breeder. You will pay more, but you will get certain guarantees and help with problems that arise.

No,she will not grow out of it.You should not breed her,as her puppies may inherit the same fault.Yes,the breeder should have told you,but that's water under the bridge, now. You should have looked the puppy over better before buying her. Please be more responsible than the breeder of your pup was and have your pup spayed

yes they should have told you about any and all problems with the dog. if they did not say anything about this problem then yes go and get in contact with them as soon as possible. I don't know what to say about the breeding part but i would have to say ask the breeder about that.

You should get in touch with them, especially if they knew you were buying it with intentions of breeding.
Yes, the undershot mouth will stay in the lineage for many, many generations..It doesn't become better..

********NO!**********

That's a TERRIBLE ***FAULT*** & the animal MUST be SPAYED!!!

It's PET-CRAP!!! *NOT* breeding stock! No reputable breeder will TOUCH such a defective speciman!

If you are honestly this PIG-IGNORANT,you have no business breeding GUPPIES,let alone dogs!
