I have been running 1.2 km+ several times a week for the last 2 months. for the past week for the first 100 metres or so I have had a sharp pain going from my feet all the way to my knees with every step the pain goes away but it's slowing me down. Whats going on. How can I fix it?

well im not for sure what could be wrong with you unless you were to point it out and such. But its probably shine splints and when you run you need to wrap your feet and go up around the ankle to support it and also change your running shoes every three months or when you think they aren't giving you the best support, icey hot works great for pain but its smells strong. Also keep well hydrated. And that means sipping on your water bottle while you run. By the time you feel thirsty your already dyhdrated and that can cause latic acids to build up in your muscles causing cramps.

It sounds like the muscle tering away from the bone. It's common in runners. You should probably rest for awhile and allow them to heal. It happens because your body is getting stronger. The muscles are getting bigger and changing shape. It can be painful, but not unbearable. Try running evey second or third day for a month, then resume your schedule. The muscles may heal up some by then.
