i was picking on my sisters friends and her in the pool, giving them wedgies and making fun and i accidently riped one of there bathing suits, my mom got all pissed off and told me since i don't know how to respect guest or women then starting tomorrow i will wear the same thing that they have to wear in the pool and see how i like it, so shes making me wear one of my sisters old pink one piece bathing suits with a skirt on it in the pool, and i have to apologize, is this a fair punishment?

It sounds much more reasonable than beating you so that's good! I agree with your mom wanting to teach you what it's like to wear the suit and although she could never mimic what you did to the one little girl, your humilation will be enough. This is something I have never understood about kids, why is it so fun to hurt or antagonize eachother?

There is also an issue with the force you used in order to rip the one girl's bathing suit off and how that will effect her and how her parents will see you and your family. If it was my daughter I wouldn't want her around you or your family because what you did isn't okay and the reason why would give me enough reason to think the environment is not healthy. Now you may have just been kidding around, the result of your actions are suspect and that doesn't mean you have any problems but you certainly need to think about the consequences of your actions. Cause and effect and sometimes what's fun can get out of control and the effect isn't what you wanted but it happened and you need to face the consequences. So sport you cute pink bathing suit tomorrow and just remember that it's because you did something wrong and your parents don't want their kid to be a problem in society. We all pay for the mistakes we make and it's better to start when we are young so we don't end up in jail or killed over them, that may seem extreme but if our parents don't step in, eventually that's what can happen to us.

Think in terms of being over 18 and ripping off a younger girls bathing suit...you will be on trial for attempted rape of a minor, aggravated assault and possibly more. They are just preparing you with how to live in the world and understand that you are going to be accountable for everything you do.

No. This kind of punishment is to severe. You do need to apologize and you need to work either mowing someones grass or whatever to earn enough money to buy her a new bathing suit. That is punishment enough. I'm afraid that humiliating you like wearing a girls swimsuit is very harsh. You may grow up resenting your mother for the rest of your life for that kind of humiliation. Ask your mother if you can work for her to pay for a new swimsuit. And apologize to her, your sister and her friend. Good Luck.

My favorite phrase for this would have to be "let the punishment fit the crime." Sounds like you were having fun harassing them, now the shoe is on the other foot. Let the punishment begin!

It may not seem fair to you....but looking at it from a mothers point of veiw, i think that i would like your mum....GO YOU GOOD THING! my son does things to his sister and friends and will never accept fault on his behalf. Sometimes we have to look at the way we would want to be treated. Yes i think it is a fair punnishment

I think that you need to stop picking on your sister. Your other question leads me to believe youare just a bully who won't leasrn until something is done to you.
I'd do far worse than that to, consider yourself lucky that you aren't my child.

You are either a 42 year old virgin who makes up stories to entertain oneself, or a 14 year old boy who will one day be a 42 year old virgin who makes up stores to entertain oneself.
